University Research Fellow – School of Engineering

The Lincoln School of Engineering was the first wholly new engineering School to be opened in the UK for decades, with investment from HEFCE, the European Regional Development Fund and Lincolnshire County Council. Applications are sought for a Research Fellow to be part of the innovative team developing cutting edge solutions for mixed signal design applications. The current role involves development of a digital signal processing interface on an FPGA platform for a novel 5G FMCW radar system. Furthermore the role requires developing, maintaining, and documenting an extensive HDL code base coupled with a custom FPGA based processing system. This will involve working closely with the design team of an industrial partner. The candidate is required to have a PhD in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with experience of digital signal processing techniques and excellent knowledge of Hardware Description Languages.
