How to write 18 research papers in 2 days?

Well done to everyone for surviving the 2 day intensive bootcamp. You are warriors – respect. I am proud of you. 18 papers completed in 2 days – great effort from everyone. The icing on the cake would be to get them all accepted by journals. Looking forward to delicious replies from editors. 😊

FEEDBACK FROM A PARTICIPANT (WAJID KHAN)

Wajid Khan 11:21 PM (13 minutes ago) 18 July 2015.

    Dear all,

I hope you all are keeping good.

    Re: bootcamp feedback

I would like to thank bootcamp admins (Rozina and Abdullah) for their efforts in organising this fantastic event.

I would also like to extend my special thanks to Dr. Mahmood and Professor Waqar Ahmed for their inspiring talks; words fall short to describe the beauty and effectiveness of this bootcamp. When I left luton, I wasn’t sure about the quality of the bootcamp but by the end of second day, I wish it was longer than two days. These two days were extremely effective and I am sure, most of us have gained extensive knowledge as the directions, ideas, tips and motivation were coming from two very successful and well respected mentors in the field.

No doubt, it was one of the best training sessions I have ever attended. It was entertaining and learning at same time. I would love to listen such talks for days.

If I have to summarise, what I have learnt in this bootcamp? It will take pages and pages. However, there are a couple of things which are worth highlighting. i-e, 3 sprints suggestions on writing by Dr. Mahmood and 3 stages by Professor Waqar.

The two recommended books (The elements of style and critical writing skills) are outstanding. I have only gone through introduction chapters and have learnt so many different aspects on writing. I have received my books on Thursday (it only cost £25). Highly recommended.

The bootcamp was above expectations and very successful. I would also recommend if we have such training sessions on writing books, which is very much alien to most of us.

Finally, thanks to all the participant for making the event more interactive. The participants have added extra spice to the event and I would like to see you all in the next camp.

    Best wishes for now
    Wajid
